In this module, we will be giving the general introduction to robotics and engineering. The teacher will teach about all the fields where robotics are being used.  After generating the curiosity for the robots kids will get a hands-on demo with basic toy robots. To give an explanation about the functioning of the robot we will teach about sensors, motors, and other input devices.
To teach the wiring and electronics of the robots will be taught about the board circuitry. We believe that the kids must know about sensing and reacting behaviour of the robot models to understand them better.

Module 2: Introduction to building up the basics

Duration: 6 Weeks

Fees: ₹4000

Age Group: 7 years +

For the module, kids will be introduced to the basic of building up a robot model. To connect different boards, connections and socket children must know soldering. Our instructor will carefully introduce the art of soldering to the kids by giving individual attention to each kid.  Soldering is done by melting aluminium to connect metals. This process gives good conductivity between metals. For younger kids, instead of soldering, we will be using connectors. Once the installation of basic components is done children will get to know about the add-ons to a robot model.

Module 3: Understanding mechanics & introduction to programming

Duration: 6 Weeks

For this module, our instructor will be teaching about the all the mechanical parts behind the functioning of a robot. A robot is based on a complex structure as it may have various components to function properly. Children will learn the use of gears, motors, actuators, pivots, joints etc. After learning the major components of a robot it will be easier for them to know the use of add-ons like contact sensors and IR sensors.
In the practical work, children will program a robot with an IR sensor to follow a black line. The instructor will give instructions and knowledge about all the required commands and codes to program this robot. After completing the building and experimentation our instructor will teach the disassembly process to disassemble the robot.

Module 4 : Experimenting with add-on sensors

Duration: 6 Weeks

Once the kids have learned about the basics of robotics and programming, now it is the time to teach them about the additional add-ons, which can be added to a robot model. Firstly, our instructor will teach the fundamentals of a sound sensor and its functionality. With the help of the instructor, the class will build a robot with a sound sensor. The sound sensor will help the robot to recognize various sound patterns to follow a command.
After this kids will be introduced to remote controls and their functionality. Once understood the instructor will help build a robot with a remote control functionality. The remote control can function at various frequencies to avoid any kind of interference from other radio devices.

Module 5 : Giving digitalized mobility and final project

Duration: 6 Weeks

Fees: ₹4000

Age Group: 7 years +

Pre-requisite: None

Once the kids have given mobility to the robot model. Then, they will be taught to control the robot from a mobile-based application. This exercise will be very advanced and will require teaching about basic mobile app development. Children will be introduced to LCD displays and their use in robotics. The LCD displays allow the robot to display important information and graphics.
To take robotics to an advanced level the instructor will help the kids to use a temperature sensor in a robot. By using the temperature sensor, a robot will be able to detect various thermal signatures around its surroundings.
 The final activity will be a surveillance drone workshop. In this workshop, the instructor will help the kids to build a lightweight surveillance drone with a camera installed. This drone can be controlled by using mobile applications.
